Executive Bios

Sally Dickson | President

Sally Dickson joined the company in 2002, bringing nearly 25 years of direct response, marketing and television sales experience to the company.

In her role as President, Dickson is focused on the strategic growth of the company. She is very involved in client relations and new client development.

Early in her career, Dickson served as Media Director of the former Dial Media Inc., originators of the legendary Ginsu Knife, Armourcote Cookware and many other famous direct response offers.

In addition to her agency background, Dickson spent seven years in television sales at WPRI-TV, Providence, RI. She initially joined the station as an Account Executive and rose to the position of Local Sales Manager. Dickson's experiences on "both sides of the desk" give her a unique perspective on the dynamics of television media placement. Her insights have been invaluable to MMSI's media department.

Dickson is very active in Rhode Island's non-profit community, recently completing twenty years of volunteer Board service in the domestic violence prevention field. She is a former Rotarian and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Sargent Rehabilitation Center.

Dickson is a Rhode Island native who earned her B.S. in Communications from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She resides in Saunderstown, RI with her husband and son.
 
Tony Ferranti | Senior Vice President

Providing strategic oversight of the company's media operations, Tony Ferranti has spent over 15 years at MMSI, soliciting and developing relationships with television stations, and more recently, internet vendors. He has also been the leader in developing per inquiry opportunities on US-based Hispanic networks and spot stations.

Under Ferranti's leadership, MMSI's media Account Executives have developed keen sales and media placement skills. He has set a strong example for the value of media analysis, monitoring of trends and optimizing available inventory on all media sources.

In his current role, Ferranti is also involved in new client development, working closely with MMSI's Account Management team throughout the process of launching new campaigns.

Ferranti's experience in direct marketing goes beyond per inquiry lead generation. He spent several years successfully developing direct marketing campaigns for television and radio stations around the country to promote themselves during "sweeps" periods. These campaigns utilized direct mail, outbound telemarketing, voice blasting and the internet.

Ferranti spent five years in the United States Navy. He received a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Rhode Island. A native of Rhode Island, Ferranti lives in Saunderstown with his wife and two children.
